Cactus Club North Van and YaleTown
My co-worker and I went to a pair of Cactus Club Cafe's in one night.
We first went to North Van CC and was informed that it'll take around 30 mins to be seated. We thought about it, and decided to wait it out. Since going to another CC will probably have the same wait. Anyways, this CC is located in Park Royal southside mall. It is located in the new area of the Park Royal Southside.
As soon as we found seats at the bar. We were informed that a table just opened up for us. Being St. Patricks day, we asked our server for green beer. But to our demise, it was not available! So we asked for a beer and a celery stick. We normally joke around with the waiteresses. Not available! So we settled on a Guiness My friend being a Catholic boy ordered a Salmon burger (It was Friday) with fries and I ordered a green salad with grilled chicken. This salad also comes with cranberries and pumpkin seed.
We had no dessert but the food was good.
Our next stop was downtown Vancouver and we walked up and down Granville Street checking out the scene. We decided to kill some time at Yaletown Cactus Club Cafe. Once we got in, it was standing room only (around 8:30 - 9pm). A very crowded place so we only ordered drinks and left.
If you are ever in downtown Vancouver, CC Yaletown would be a good place to be (on a Friday or Saturday night).
